Effectiveness
David has has attempted to practice much of the Stephen Covey approach to identifying your mission, objectives and goals, and prioritising use of time and resources to achieve those goals.
In David’s case his mission has a lot to do with seeking to work out the practicalities of this passage (From Matthew 7:12 in “The Message” version of the Bible):
“Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behaviour: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get.”
Sounds straightforward, and it should be – but it turns out not to be so easy in practice… still working on it though…
